Final project proposal

For my final project, I am going create a face book page for the Story of "Interview with the Vampire, by Anne Rice.  This face book page will consist of characters, places, etc. from this novel , I am also going to create an alternate ending for the novel.

  1. I'm curious to know more about this project. How will you incorporate the characters and places into the facebook page? Will the profile be for one of the characters in the book? If so which one will it be and why? For the alternate ending, is it going to be the way you would have liked it to end or just another way it could have gone? I'm interested to see what you come up with.

  2. I think this sounds like a really fun idea. It will be interesting to see how the characters would interact on a fairly new piece of technology. I always find it fascinating when book characters are given fake Facebook pages. Seeing their interaction on an interface we routinely use makes them much more relatable and sometimes makes their relationships easier to understand.

  3. I like your idea to create a facebook page. I think this idea will give you an opportunity to explore different aspects of the novel and expose those aspects to others via the internet. I also think creating an alternate ending is an interesting idea to play with because when I read a book I think about things I would have done differently, and this will give you a chance to express that and get feedback.

  4. I love facebook pages for novels, but just be careful about really utilizing all the resources and utilities facebook offers. Make sure you're writing "notes," adding pictures with captions, joining groups, participating in groups, creating statuses and comments, all of that stuff. Sometimes people just blow off the facebook project, but actually if done well can be quite fascinating to see how characters would actually interact on a social networking site.
